Verizon Customer support

They called my home at 4PM today and when I picked up, a lady asked me that she was calling to find out if I knew a certain person (hispanic name I can't remember), who was my neighbor, if he was still my neighbor. I told her I did not understand why she would be calling me to ask this. She said I was listed as one of this person's neighbors. She then said she was calling from PROVEST, just as the other post says above. I told her this was some tricky business and then I hung up.

calls every 5 min about a bill i ha 10 years ago...crazy

Calling here a business asking for someone that does not work here. It is very annoying.

I got a similar call and message about the failed attempt to deliver documentation. Since I moved twice in the past year I figured it may be legit. I actually called back and did get through. Turns out they are representing an old landlord of mine that I stiffed on 3 months rent. I don't know how the heck they got my new number but regardless I was actually shocked that the person I spoke to was really easy to deal with and respectful. You don't see that to much these days. Since they were willing to work with me I guess I am going to pay the bastard.

This man of Middle Eastern Decent keeps calling me. He is about 130 to 150 LBS (pounds in weight), aged between 35 to 40 years old, Black stringy hair, Brown eyes, Wears a dirty grey jacket. I was recently ripped off by him. I have my doubts that the police will do anything about it [report has been filed]. The man says his name is Mohammad, but I doubt that is his real name. I also have my doubts that the caller ID is listed under his real name (my guess is that he has a partner helping). This person is bad news and should be avoided.

calling my cell phone - after I answer tones are heard similar to dialing a new number. Scam?

The caller ID only says "Florida call." They have called as early as 7:00 am, and they never leave a message. All you can find out when you google the number is that it is unpublished but it is in Fort Walton Beach, FL area.

Calls twice a day, between 11 AM and 5PM, does not say a word, does not leave a message. I just ignore him.
